International Aid+Trade Event - Geneva

 

JANUARY 24-27, 2008

The cocktail reception, for the 2008 International Aid + Trade Event, was held inside a 44 ft. Pacific Dome at the PALEXPO in Geneva, Switzerland. It was a huge hit and it gave attendees a unique place to unwind, enjoy a drink, and interact with other members of the humanitarian community. Aid + Trade is an international platform that creates partnerships between aid agencies, UN organizations, business and government with the goal of providing coordinated relief to people in disaster areas all over the world.

“Best of Show” at Special Event Trade Show - Atlanta, GA

 

JANUARY 16-18, 2008

Booth #249 was very popular this year at the Special Event Trade Show in Atlanta. It was where Pacific Domes was exhibiting a 20 ft. Event Dome that featured a powder-coated frame, a Rola-trac floor system and a custom designed “Spacebar” (designed by Jason Weade, our in-house industrial designer).

 

We had great results, including positive feedback from a number of people from the East Coast who had never seen or been in one of our domes before. We expect that this will generate more business in that part of the country. We were even voted “Best in Show” by an association in Las Vegas!

42nd AUDI FIS Ski World Cup - Adelboden

   

JANUARY 5-6, 2008

In January we had a 44 ft. Dome in the Swiss Alps. Our Dome served as the VIP viewing area for the World Cup ski event, which attracted over 34,000 spectators this year - a new record!

Domes Add Impact to Corporate Parties

DECEMBER 15, 2007

Ernst & Young (Poland), a leading international, professional advisory services company, held their private Christmas party in Warsaw this past December.

 

We provided four 60 ft. Domes and one 30 ft. Dome that were all connected and colorfully lit.

  

The festive Domes made a really unique atmosphere in which to entertain.

DECEMBER 15, 2007

Adobe celebrated its 25th anniversary this past December with a huge party in San Jose, California.

 

The band “Smash Mouth” made a surprise appearance and rocked the house. For this holiday season event, we provided a 30 ft. Dome, set up on a riser, which was used to feature a new interactive, graphics projection system that was being showcased to Adobe employees.

DECEMBER 7-8, 2007

Google, once again, went all out for its annual Holiday Party (photos by Ken Tidwell).

 

This extravagant event was held at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California, and was attended by close to 11,000 people. It was so large that it had to be split into two evenings. Pacific Domes provided two Lycra Domes that were suspended from the ceiling with projectors inside, creating festive lighting effects. One of the Domes hung over the DJ, who was on a raised platform, rocking it out in the center of the room.
